My wife and I wanted to visit the William Wallace monument to wrap up our visit to Scotland, having ascertained knowledge from our previous visit to Stirling and Edinburgh castles. The weather was extremely cooperative, which you will hear is quite rare in the country, making the splendid views once we reached the top of the monument spectacular!
You can pretty much google what is inside the Wallace monument so I won’t bore you with the details. Just know that when you venture inside the monument, William Wallace is honored as he should be honored. One really gets a sense of the struggle upon climbing the steps to see his sword and the views.
