I went outdoors with my small Fuji to photograph the comings and goings in North Texas in Black and White. As a naturalist my gaze was set on the local wildlife inhabiting small ponds for the winter.

I enjoy practicing compositional techniques with a single lens, though I did bring a few primes along just in case. Photographing nature requires reach so my telephoto stayed fastened on to my camera.
