Today my wife and I visited the Fort Worth Stockyards as I was in pursuit for some remainder objects for a still-life photography series I am working on and she could shop. So of course I brought my camera!

…and boy was cowtown packed!

Street photography for me is about capturing the highs and lows of the every day. Most of the time I share the lows. As of late however, I just can’t stomach all the drama. Today, the Fort Worth Stockyards was like a cinematic matinee where I could just press play and be entertained. I didn’t have to work to find pleasure and enjoyment…it was just there, right in the center of my viewfinder.
