Flight of the Gulls

Always keep your camera handy because unexpected encounters can happen at any moment. In my case, a brief respite in my backyard led to the creation of a new black and white photography series titled "Flight of the Gulls."" It captures a chance encounter with a hundred or so migrating Franklin Gulls over North Texas, more specifically over my own house.

Some of you may know me for my still life or flower photography. However, you may not be aware that I'm a naturalist and nature photographer. My primary interest lies in capturing nature in my local area, so it's rare that I get the opportunity to create a fine art series showcasing nature from my own backyard. I hope you enjoy the series!
