I thought I knew a thing or two about the comings and goings in my hometown of Fort Worth Texas having lived in the area off and on for thirty years. However, I proved myself wrong venturing out to the Day of the Dead Parade in North Fort Worth with my friend Tim Smith, a marketing director and fellow photographer. I sought out the parade needing to get out of the house so my wife could have some R&R. What I discovered in the process was a city as diverse as my photography portfolio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

My wife had also challenged me to use color for my photo shoot which made me a bit anxious. My better half is not that fond of black and white despite my recent award winning success. She is always trying to keep my repertoire and spirit well-balanced.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARTES DE LA ROSA<\/a> was responsible for the Day of the Dead parade which unfortunately had been delayed a week due to the torrential rains. A few blocks away were the jam packed Fort Worth stockyards where I had parked. We would walk down to the parade and traverse back and forth, from parade to stockyards, the entire day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I was amazed to hear The Cliburn at the park. What a surprise that was! And look! An up and coming photographer was close by taking a few snappies.o<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
